Meet Dr. Carter
Jeffrey B. Carter, M.D., D.M.D., holds a degree in engineering from Tufts University, a Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Connecticut, and a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University. He completed training in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Hospital, as well as in oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at Vanderbilt. From 1980 to 1986, Dr. Carter served as head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Directory of Residency Education at Carle Foundation Hospital. From 1986 to current, he has practiced in Nashville where he conducted an oral and maxillofacial surgical fellowship from 1987 to 2003. Dr. Carter served as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1993 to 1999.
He maintains an active practice all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Middle Tennessee.
